30th June 2012, Saturday, was a very memorable day for Young Engineers Section (YES) Miri for receiving the “Most Outstanding IEM Young Engineers Section Branch 2011/2012” award. This was announced during the 42nd Annual General Meeting of the Graduate and Student Section of YES, IEM Kuala Lumpur held at the Swiss Garden Hotel. The award was given for YES Miri’s involvement with YES and IEM and based on overall performance.
Two other branches, namely YES Sarawak and YES Southern, also received the same award. YES Miri was represented by Saudari Eleena Maizura who received the award from Dato’ Paduka Ir. (Dr) Haji Keizrul bin Abdullah, Past President of Institution of Engineers, Malaysia, IEM.
